„Today I walk the land within me.”

There is a mountain in me.
It is old and quiet. It has watched me for years, saying nothing.
I used to think it was stone, but now I know it’s made of silence that chose to hold rather than break.

Beneath it lies a lake – deep, dark, still.
When I’m afraid to feel, I go there. The water listens. It remembers everything.
But lately, I feel it whisper:
“You can let some of it go now.”

Further east, there is a forest.
Wild, tangled, half-forgotten.
It smells like childhood and freedom and tears that never reached the surface.
In that forest, something moves.
It is not dangerous.
It is just waiting for me to stop being afraid of myself.

There’s also a desert – burned by exhaustion.
Winds blow the sand of all the times I kept going when I was breaking.
But even there, a single flower grows. It says:
“You survived. And something still blooms.”

And at the edge…
There is a field.
Open. Soft. Light dances on the grass.
That’s the place I’ve never really stayed in.
The place of rest.
It waits for me. Still. Every day.

Affirmation

I carry worlds within me.
I honour their silence, their wildness, their rest.
Every part has a place in my soul’s sky.

🔍Question to yourself

Which part of my inner map do I keep avoiding?
What would happen if I stood still there – just for a breath, just for today?
