If you feel resistance… if something holds you back from going deeper — it’s her. The fog that wraps around your heart, whispering: “This is your fault”… even when it’s not.
She doesn’t ask: “Do you want to enter?”
She asks: “Do you know what you’re carrying?”
And: “Are you ready to lay it down?”
Because the Nine Shadows will not welcome anyone still dragging someone else’s shame.

Some guilt is quiet — not dramatic, not loud.
It doesn’t scream “I’m guilty.”
It whispers: “I should have done more.”
“It was my job to fix it.”
“If I had just been better, they wouldn’t have…”
The Gate Keeper doesn’t accuse.
She holds the mirror.
Because sometimes, what we call “guilt” is just grief we didn’t know how to feel.
Sometimes, we carry shame to feel in control — because helplessness feels worse.
And so we drag the weight of others — their pain, their choices, their silence — and call it our fault.
But your Soul was never meant to carry chains.
It was meant to walk free.
To pass through the Shadow Gate, you must leave behind the belief that carrying others’ suffering is the same as healing it.
You are allowed to put it down.
You are still worthy.
You are still good.
