She always says yes.
She always smiles.
She always shows up.
And slowly, she disappears.
The good girl is praised for being low-maintenance. For not needing too much. For being easy to love.
But what happens when “being easy” costs her her voice? What happens when the girl who made everyone comfortable… can’t recognize herself in the mirror anymore?
The good girl never asks for help. She says, “It’s okay” when it’s not. She apologizes for existing.
And she’s tired. But no one sees it. Because she’s so good at hiding.
Being good is not the same as being whole.
This is where she begins to return.
