The Lighthouse of Self-Understanding

There is a place within me
where I don’t need to know in order to feel,
and I don’t need to do in order to exist.

It is the Lighthouse of Self-Understanding—
not tall, not loud.
It’s quiet. Steady.
Sometimes barely visible.
But it never goes out.

It’s where I return
when I forget who I am.
When there’s too much from the outside,
and too little from within.
It’s the place where all the roles fall away.
Where masks gently slip from my face,
and I—naked in truth—meet myself
exactly as I am.

There are no mirrors here.
No expectations.
Only light
that softly says:
“Welcome home.”

It doesn’t ask who I am.
It remembers.
And it shines—for me—
even when I forget to shine for myself.

🔍Two Questions for the Soul:

  1. What am I afraid to see in myself that is actually waiting to set me free?
  2. If I trusted my inner light completely… what would I no longer need to seek outside of me?
