Today I woke up with a strange heaviness in my chest. Not pain. Not sadness.
Just something that wanted to be felt.
So I didn’t run from it. I sat. And I asked, softly:
“What is this?”
And I heard:
“It’s the part of you that never had space to be seen. The part that got used to being quiet.”
I wanted to cry, but not because it hurt.
I cried because I finally heard it.
Because something in me whispered,
“I’m still here. I’m still waiting. I still believe in us.”
It’s wild how loud silence can become when you decide to listen.
And how comforting it feels to know that even the most hidden parts of your soul…
still love you.
Today, I don’t need to fix anything.
Just hold myself the way I always wanted to be held.
🌿 Affirmation
I honour every part of me, even the quiet ones.
I choose presence over perfection.
🌀 Question to yourself
Which part of me have I been asking to stay silent?
What would happen if I listened… just for a moment?
